Spotted a wrong conversion, want a tool that does not exist yet, or have a question? Use the form below. Every message is read by a person.
Report an error
Accuracy is the whole point of a converter, so error reports are the most useful messages we receive. You do not need to be polite about it or explain the background — just tell us what you expected and what you got, and the page will be checked against its reference source.
A useful report contains:
- The page you were using (its URL, or the converter or calculator name).
- The value you entered and the units you selected from and to.
- The result you saw, and the result you expected.
- Your browser and device, if the problem looks like a display or layout issue.
If you can, include the reference you checked against — a standard, a textbook, a manufacturer's data sheet or a second converter. Two independent sources agreeing is normally enough to settle a disagreement, and it makes a fix much faster to verify.
What happens next
Every report is read by a person, not a queue. Reports are usually acknowledged within a few business days. A confirmed arithmetic error is fixed on the page itself, and the review date at the top of that page is updated so you can see the change was made. Where the disagreement is about a convention rather than an error — cup sizes, mesh openings, yarn count systems, regional land units — the page is amended to explain which convention it uses instead of silently picking one.
Corrections to a guide are handled the same way. If a figure in one of the long-form guides turns out to be wrong, the guide is corrected and its source list is amended rather than the passage being quietly deleted.
Suggesting a new tool
New converters and calculators are added regularly, and suggestions genuinely shape what comes next. Tell us what you would use it for — that helps us decide how much detail and which units to include.
Accessibility feedback
If something is hard to use with a keyboard, a screen reader, a magnifier or a small screen, we want to hear about it. The site is built with semantic headings, visible focus styles, labelled form fields and a skip link; when those fall short in practice, the practical report is more useful than the audit score.
Advertising and partnerships
For advertising, sponsorship, licensing or content enquiries, use the “Advertising or partnership” topic above and include a short description of what you have in mind.
Privacy requests
To exercise a data protection right, or to ask a question about the Privacy Policy, choose “Privacy request” as the topic in the form above. Because UnitCalConv has no accounts and does not store the values you enter, there is often no personal data to disclose or delete — but we will confirm in writing.
