1. The service

UnitCalConv provides free, browser-based unit converters and calculators. No account is required and no payment is involved. We may add, change, move or retire tools and pages at any time without notice, and we may suspend the Site for maintenance.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Site lawfully and sensibly. In particular, you will not:

• attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape at scale or gain unauthorised access to the Site or its infrastructure;
• use automated means to copy the Site in bulk or to republish it as your own;
• use the Site in a way that infringes the rights of others or breaks any applicable law.

3. Accuracy and no warranty

Converters and calculators are provided for general information and convenience. They are supplied “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Conversion factors follow standard international definitions and results are shown to a fixed number of significant digits, so values are rounded. Currency rates are indicative reference values, not transactional rates.

4. Intellectual property

The Site’s design, text, code and branding are owned by us or used with permission and are protected by copyright and related laws. You may use the tools freely for personal and professional purposes, but you may not copy, redistribute or republish substantial parts of the Site without our prior written permission. Facts and conversion factors themselves are not owned by anyone.

5. Third-party services and links

The Site relies on third-party services such as a public exchange-rate feed and advertising networks, and may link to external websites. Those services and sites have their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or availability.

6. Advertising

Advertising may be displayed to keep the Site free. Ads are served by third-party networks, including Google, and are subject to those networks’ policies. Where required by law, we ask for consent before setting non-essential cookies. See the Privacy Policy for how to manage your choices.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or connected with your use of, or inability to use, the Site — including decisions made on the basis of a result produced by a tool. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims and costs arising from your misuse of the Site or your breach of these terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows the current version, and continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

10. Severability and entire agreement

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts stay in force. Together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, these terms are the whole agreement between you and us about the Site.
