About the Valorant Sensitivity Converter

Sensitivity is not portable between games because each engine applies a different degrees-per-count constant. CS2 and Apex use 0.022, Valorant uses 0.07, so the same mouse movement turns further in Valorant unless you scale the number.

The conversion is a ratio: new sensitivity = old sensitivity × (yaw of the old game ÷ yaw of the new game). eDPI is separate — it is DPI times sensitivity within one game, so it is only meaningful as a comparison inside the same engine.

How the calculation works

  • sensₙₑᴡ = sensₒₗₑ × (yawₒₗₑ ÷ yawₙₑᴡ)
  • CS2 and Apex yaw = 0.022 · Valorant yaw = 0.07
  • eDPI = DPI × in-game sensitivity

Worked examples

  • CS2 sensitivity 2.0 at 800 DPI → Valorant 0.63, still 800 DPI.
  • Valorant 0.4 at 1,600 DPI → CS2 1.27.
  • Apex 3.0 → Valorant 0.94, because both CS2 and Apex use yaw 0.022.

Why the numbers differ by game

Each engine turns mouse counts into degrees at its own rate. The yaw constant is degrees per count at sensitivity 1, so converting between games is a simple ratio. Keep DPI fixed, or the result is meaningless: doubling DPI and halving sensitivity is not the same feel, because it halves the physical resolution of your aim.

Common mistakes

  • Changing DPI as well as sensitivity during the conversion.
  • Comparing eDPI across games, which only works within one engine.
  • Forgetting that FOV affects perceived sensitivity, especially when scoped.

A last check on the CS2 sens table: 1.0 0.31 sits at the base of the chart, and the rows above it step in the same proportion, so you can scale from that first row instead of reading every line. If a figure you were quoted falls between two rows, it is the Valorant sens side that has been rounded, not the conversion itself.

Frequently asked questions

Multiply by 0.022 ÷ 0.07, which is 0.314. A 2.0 CS2 sensitivity is 0.63 in Valorant.
Not for the sensitivity number, but keep DPI identical or the result is meaningless.
No. eDPI only compares setups within one game, because the yaw constants differ.
